John "J-Dub" Williamson - Outfitter

 

Born and raised in East Texas, I grew up pursuing Whitetail Deer, Waterfowl and Hogs in the Piney Woods and Marshes of home. After High School, I joined the United States Air Force where I served proudly and retired after 21 years of service. I served here in Utah for a lot of my time and fell in love with the mountains, the people and the hunting. My passion for the outdoors has always been at the heart of who I am. Over the years, I've chased Big Game across Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and here in Utah; Learning the land, perfecting my craft and gaining a deep appreciation for the unique challenges each hunt brings.

  Before founding Jagged West Outfitters, I worked as a Big Game Hunting Guide with multiple Outfitters across Utah, and for the past 6 years I have been the lead Guide and Outfit Manager for one of the top Hunting Outfits on the Wasatch Unit. After my Outfitter retired, it was time for me to take the next step and showcase my skills at the next level! Over the years I have built a great reputation, sharing my knowledge, dedication and honest approach to fair chase with every client. Many have returned year after year with me, not just for the quality I provide, but for the experience and camaraderie that make each adventure memorable.
